Original Painting Set Washington Lincoln Portraits On Canvas Artist Signed 70s
These paintings are from the estate of artist - Joyce Van Ermel Scherer (1936-2021). Joyce and her husband were interned at Japanese internment camps in Dutch West Indies during WW2 before moving back to the Netherlands and then settling in the US - Austin, Texas.
Lincoln portrait is framed, signed and dated. Measures approx 21 inches tall and 17 inches wide.
Washington portrait is unframed canvas board and signed. Measures approx 16 inches tall and 12 inches.
I believe these are oil but could be acrylic paint. Unique style and striking colors.
Good preowned condition. Washington painting has some discoloration dotting (pictured up close)
